Suwannee Sarakana earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Fine Art at Silpakorn University. Suwannee draws her inspiration from the people of the small villages of Isan in northeastern Thailand where she grew up. Suwannee paints the life of the village’s children and women relaxing and playing. Her paintings use tactile textures to represent the real nature of reality in the village where life is lived close to the earth. |
